FW 12

(in alphabetical order)

#1

Antonio Berardi

I loved both of these looks.  # 1 and #2 in the show line up.  The color of the dress is very sedate but the shape is very youthful.  The long red dress is really sleek and looks cool with the slate gray double breasted jacket.

#2

Aquascutum

Though this feels a bit Helmut Lang in the 90′s…  I really love this look.  The long gloves, white tunic top and side pleat trouser are über-chic.

#3

Erdem

I really love Erdem.  Prints, lace, lady-like with a refined edge, feminine shapes… all adds up to something I’d love to wear.

Giles

I loved this show.  It was really difficult to pick what I loved most.  The peplum tuxedo jacket and stovepipe trouser is a favorite.  I love the 50′s charm of the 2nd look with a crazy yellow snakeskin shoe.  The brunt print dress with feathered hem is so nuts.  I just loved it all.  There was more… but I couldn’t fit them.

#5

Jonathan Saunders

Sporty and everyday.  Not the most exciting look, but a runway to real life outfit fo’ sho’.

#6

Marios Schwab

I adore these looks.  Black lace peonies and green silk… Leather-sleeved petrol coat… nude corset and pale blue sequined dress.  Love.

#7

Mary Katrantzou

This woman is so talented.  The ornate prints and colors of the entire collection are so inspiring.  I love knitting, so its amazing seeing her prints come to life over the knitwear.

#8

McQ

This dress is so beautiful.  I love the tight belted waistline… the 50′s silhouette… the tea length skirt… the bodice.  LOVE.  I want to see this in a magazine and on the street.

#9

Peter Jensen

While looking through this show, I remarked how much I loved the first look (on the left).  As I got to to the last look (on the right), I thought… “what a great season for Peter”.  I went from the last look back to the first and realized how cool the 2 ends of the spectrum are…  day to evening.  I could see a modern day Audrey Hepburn in both.

The way the dyed fur matches up with the print on the dress is crazy!  I love the saturated colors.  This look is perfect.
