Thanksgiving is a thing to love.  I love everything about the dinner… and savoring it with family and friends.  I love celebrating gratitude with an amazing meal that you eat once a year, but I also love it all over again the next day.  I take a skillet and put each item…  turkey, stuffing, brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, broccoli… and heat it all up, slide it onto a plate and top with cranberry sauce.

Each time I get together with my family, some song tends to be threaded throughout the trip.  This time it was “Call on Me” by Chicago circa late 70′s.  I sang it for days, and it will forever remind me of thanksgiving 2011.   For your listening pleasure!

I am head over heels in love with this Celine tote.  I love the color blocking in very classic colors… black, white and tan.  It’s the perfect tote!

I love this Araks shirt more than I can say.  It’s the most amazing color… and I receive more compliments when I wear it than most anything I own!  It’s available araks.com!!!

I spent thanksgiving in Kentucky at my sister and her husband’s farm.  I had never had bourbon before… and as it turns out, I love bourbon.  Kentucky bourbon!  My favorite was Willett.

I really have loved reading WSJ magazine.  I love the photography, the features…  I love reading it cover to cover pretty much every issue.

I don’t frequently wear perfume.  I used to wear a fragrance, Extract of Limes, from the storied English perfumer Penhaligon’s.  They discontinued it several years ago but have since brought it back to stores!!  I was overjoyed.  It’s suits me perfectly since is starts off so fresh and bright and fades gently without ever being overpowering.  Something for me to enjoy… not an entire room!

I’m not terrifically fond of winter since I loathe being cold!  But I have dug deep and found things to absolutely love about the winter months…  one of them is the winter night sky.  I love seeing the starry night sky through the bare trees.  Couldn’t tell you why… I just do.
