I love being warm.  I prefer it to being cold 10 times out of 10.  It’s a little much in NYC at the moment… so I am envisioning cool water shimmering with diamonds.

To continue on our heat advisory theme… I love old movies.  I love Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and as an added bonus, i love love love  the white chiffon dress Elizabeth Taylor wears in several scenes.  3 loves in one item.

I love Paul Newman.  He is the gold standard of men in my book.  Handsome, talented, philanthropic, apparently remarkably funny.  The End.

I am going to succumb to lure of the animal you tube clip.  It’s Friday.  And it’s set to a little G ‘n R.  No harm…  but I do love my pets!

As is obvious from our first blog post (29 June 2011), I really love Steak ‘N Shake.  I nearly died when I read the below item in the NY Times that a counter restaurant is coming to New York City.   Double steakburger…  come to mama.

I’m going to continue on a NY Times moment and say how much I love “Hey Mr. Critic” by Sam Sifton. Each week, he answers people queries about places to dine in town.  I had a difficult adjustment losing Frank Bruni, but I’ve settled in to Sam, and love this addition to his coverage of dining in the city!  Link below to this week’s article.

I would love to own a Chanel bag.  If I had to choose one, it would have to be an interesting color.  I choose emerald green in homage to a dear friend who has crazy style and has a similar one.

I am biased, but with good reason.  I love Creatures of The Wind.  They were just nominated as a finalist for the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund for 2011, and I am wild for their clothes and talent.  You haven’t met 2 nicer guys.

I love the Oldies Soul channel on Pandora Radio.  I always hear something unexpected that I happen to love.  Summer Fridays at the sun deck at Chelsea Piers Gym for an hour or two… and oldies soul.

In closing today, with great admiration, I want to say that I love the Metropolitan Museum: Costume Institute “Savage Beauty” exhibition… but hey, I’m not the only one.  I’m attaching a fuzzy cruddy image from the Givenchy Haute Couture AW 97 collection that I happened to work on in Paris.  This dress was in the exhibition.  No words for the loss nor words for the immeasurable genius.
