I really love great friends with great country houses that extend great invitations for summer weekends out of the city. This is in the Catskills, and I just love everything about it. The stars at night, the birds in the morning… the quiet.

I love Hussein Chalayan. This is a look from the SS 11 collection which I am lucky enough to own. His talent is thrilling. He will also have an exhibition in Paris opening in August at Les Arts Décoratifs which I will make sure to see in October during the SS 12 collections.

The beginning of heirloom tomoato season. I love a simple salad of tomatoes, chives, olive oil, salt and pepper.

I love the garden of the Seminary across from HAAN PROJECTS. We love watching the seasons turn, and now we are in full blown summer with the ivy covered buildings… it’s an enchanting view from our window.

Momofuku Ko. Going next week for my 4th visit. It’s really one of the most interesting meals to have in NY. Utterly unique. This dish is a favorite of frozen foie gras that is grated and then mounted in a pile with lychee. Salty. Sweet. Unfathomably delicious. Double love.

I love the white perhaps pineapple flavored gummi bears. Haribo in particular.
